To block customers from attempting payment and ordering with Vapiano, either with PDQ or QR code app, do the following:
- Log in Adyen portal
- Navigate to Transactions > Payments
- Find the transaction associated with the card or shopper you would like to block
Open the transaction and scroll to the bottom until you see this section:
- If not ticked already, tick the options " Used card / Bank account number" and "Block"
- Click apply
The shopper, card number and bank account is now blocked from making any payments into Vapiano UK restaurants.

If the card needs to be unblocked, follow the same steps above, but this time select "Remove from list"
Important to note: The difference between "Trust" and "Remove from list" is:
- Trust: Card will be allowed in every case without risk management
- Remove from list: Adyen will put the customer back into a neutral state, where if needed the risk management will take place preventing high risk transactions
